About Me
Hi, I’m Lucy, the owner of Beadz Bazaar. I’ve lived in Frome since I was little, so opening and running a creative shop in this lovely town feels very special to me. I’ve been making jewellery since I was about 14, and what started as a hobby has turned in to a lifelong passion.
I originally studied Graphic Design at university and spent a short time working freelance, but it didn’t take long for me to realise it wasn’t the right fit. Wanting a more hands-on and creative career, I made a change and decided to turn my love of jewellery making into a business by taking over Beadz Bazaar.
I love all things creative and usually have at least two projects on the go at any one time. I’m especially drawn to giving old things new life, which is why I often work with reclaimed and recycled beads. For me, jewellery making is about creativity, sustainability and individuality — values that are at the heart of everything I do at here Beadz Bazaar.
